How did you start banking with Winter Park National Bank?

CZ: I think the most important thing is, I’ve worked hard to build up my client base and when you give out a referral that is a reflection on yourself. You want to make sure that you're referring to someone that treats that professional relationship the same way that you would. They take the care, time and thoughtfulness to make sure that they are truly developing that professional relationship, and it’s a good reflection on you when you refer someone to the bank.
Why is it important to refer to a community bank?

How long have you been a customer of Winter Park National Bank?
RB: Since they opened their doors.
What was the key driver in your decision to shift your banking?
RB: The key factor was the people. I knew David and Sid and had some acquaintances with Jeff. Sid and I go back to the 70's.
Are there any particular services offered by Winter Park National Bank that are unique or different for you/your company?
RB: The services that we had at the previous bank, we have those same services, but knowing David and Sid, if I need something, I can pick up the phone and talk to them. The decisions at Winter Park National Bank are made right here locally.
How is the relationship or service different with Winter Park National Bank?
RB: Well, it’s personal. I don’t feel like a number.
Is there something unique about your experience that you think other businesses like yours should know?
RB: Well, they return your phone calls and they do what they say they’re going to do.
Why is it important to you to work with a “community” bank?
RB: Because they’re local and you get to know the people. The decisions are made locally and not out-of-state. At bigger banks, most of the decisions are made out-of-state, not locally.
If you could choose one adjective to describe Winter Park National Bank, what would it be?
RB: Reliable. That’s the main reason to have a personal relationship with your banker.
